Built by engineers who knew there had to be a better way

QueueMetrix Pty Ltd was established in 2014 with a clear purpose: to help organisations monitor and optimise their IBM MQ estates without needing expensive consultants, specialist expertise, or complex tooling.

We saw enterprises struggling to extract meaningful observability from their message queuing infrastructure — paying heavily for insights that should have been readily accessible. We believed simpler solutions are often superior, and set out to prove it.

Today, Lamaxu is the result of that mission: a lightweight Java agent that connects remotely to IBM MQ and surfaces nearly all of its internal metrics in a consumable format — ready for Splunk, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, or any JMX-compatible platform.
