Assuming you are installing into an environment with the following parameters:

Installing on Linux (UNIX)

Installation directory

/app/lamaxu

User

Installation Steps

  1. Login to the target server as the executing user
  2. Create the installation directory
  3. Copy the installation archive to the installation directory and extract the contents
  4. Navigate to the directory called "clientjars"
  5. Copy the client jars from your installation of the IBM MQ client to the ${LAMAXU_HOME}/lib directory, ensure you include all required jars.
  6. Navigate to the config directory and configure the config.xml file for your environment

The main configuration file is named config.xml which configures all details for behaviour of the LAMAXU data collector. See section 5 for configuration options.
